What vaccinations should I get?
I am a 28 yo female, and will soon be working in a correctional center, and a psychiatric hospital (which is also a correctional center). I have asthma, and I tend to be "sick" quite often (suppressed immune system). I have had regular vaccinations as a child, but I am wanting to be vaccinated for my new employment facilities. Any suggestions?
Just for clarification, when I say that I am "sick" often, I mean that when a "bug" is going around, I am often the first one to "catch" it.

Definitely get vaccinated for Hepatitis, that is one of the nastiest and easiest to catch. Also make sure that you're regularly checked for TB and MRSA, which is a medication resistant staph. Keep up on flu shots and maybe even pneumonia, especially if you have a poor immune system.
Essentially though, the first and foremost defense is handwashing. How underestimated it is! Also, carry around some liquid hand sanitizer, that works great if you're in a hurry. But if you have a choice, always handwash.
Good luck with the job!
