Is breathing fiberglass insulation dust daily hazardous to me and my family?
Our landlord put bare fiberglass insulation in a vent register connected to our HVAC. My 8 year old has asthma and allergies and they have gotten steadily worse since it was installed. We also have a newborn. Is this dangerous and what should I do? We have told the landlords of our concern, but they don't care.

you really need to fix your problem.
i dont know how though. if you know any contractors or people in construction ask them. look threw your phone book for people who work with insulation and call them? thats what i would do.
hope this helps

Yes, it is hazardous!
You need to do something quickly - the problem needs to be corrected immediately. Have you spoken with an attorney?
Getting away from this is critical. See your doctor and let them know what is going on. Document your conversations with the landlord asking them to address the problem.
If you don't get quick action, look to move!

Fiberglass carries warnings for everybody. Get some advice as soon as possible!

Get your children out of that situation immediately. I know this is easier said than done but please, children's lungs are still forming and can be permanently damaged by fiberglass.
