Why are people not considerate of people with asthma?

Why are people not considerate of people with asthma?
Are people ignorant or do they just not care? People smoke outside of doors at stores or the mall, smoking being my worst trigger. I was flying home on a five hour flight when about four hours into the flight someone sprayed perfume. It was an instant asthma attack. Why aren't people more aware of their actions and how they affect the people around them? Am I just being overly sensitive? I feel I have the right to live in this world like everyone else without having to make sure that I won't have an asthma attack as I walk out of a store because there is someone I didn't see smoking.

people are too self centered to think of others who may have problems like yours, some may be ignorant, bot others simply believe that the chances of running into someone with a problem is too small to worry about..
While my issue is not asthma, I develop rashes from exposure to perfume/cologne, but that won't stop store attendants from randomly spraying it on me hen I walk through the mall.

They're more than likely not doing it intenionally. Chances are if they knew you have asthma, they would take precautions to not trigger an attack.

because they are not really aware of it...they're too caught up in their liffe to think of others and dont prioritize other people's concerns over their own
and not just in asthma
i honestly feel for you though
smoking is generally so stupid and dangerous for themselves
