What is the mechanism of Atopic Eczema?
For 2.5 years child with extensive eczema.started behind his knees .Areas affected where popliteal & anti cubital fossae.His family has a strong history of atopic disease.his mother &maternal grandmother suffered frm ASTHMA.Lab investigations showed normal haemoglobin 123g/l.with a raised white cell count.

Both athsma and eczema are auto immune diseases. In other words the immune system is over active for some reason.
