Was I having an asthma attack? Should I go back to using my inhaler?

Was I having an asthma attack? Should I go back to using my inhaler?
I have asthma, and the other day, I felt like I had this scrathiness in my throat, and I kept coughing. Whenever I felt the scratchiness, I couldn't breathe. And I felt like I was weezing a couple times. I know that probably made NO sense whatsoever.

I haven't used my inhaler in FOREVER, and with the seasons changing and me having awful allergies along with my asthma, should I talk to my doctor about going back to using my inhaler?

From what I'm hearing, it doesn't sound like you were having an asthma attack, at least I've never had an attack like that, but I have had allergies like that. As the season is changing asthma is more easily triggered.

So if I was in your shoes I would definitely go to the doctor, not necessarily to see if I should back on my inhaler; if you go they might prescribe an allergy medicine along with your inhaler or something like that. Or they may just say to use your inhaler, or say there's nothing wrong at all. Either way, it's a good idea to check with your doctor. ;)

Yes, you should, with all the allergies and the weather changing, you should be on one to keep airways clear so that you don't have an attack. It could have been a hair or something in your throat, but you should use the inhaler again.
