Please guide me what to do in this condition?
So this question is about my 5.6 year old daughter. She went through a normal full body checkup yesterday. There the doctor said that her heart is beating very fast without any pause. she suspects some abnormality in heart beat. My daughter does not have any problem regarding breathing or asthma like conditions. Infact she is a very bright, healthy and smart child. But since yesterday i m very confused what to do. either should i take her to a big hospital or should i let it remain as it is. As this heart beat is since her birth and never it had any proble. Please anyone guide me what to do. Thanks

Go for a second opinion just to be safe

I'd be tempted to think you should seek advice from the doctor who detected her abnormality and go from there really...

Did the doctor seem worried?

A fast heart beat can be do to many things. If hyperthyroidism this would be bad. But treatable. On matters such as this you should always get a second opinion. Most doctors do not think they can be wrong. A good doctor will not mind if you get another opinion. They know that they might not see something another one would.
Thyroid tests are simple blood work up checking the TSH levels in the blood.
