Asthma, Pregnancy and heart disease?
I am 4 1/2 months pregnant. Was diagnosed with a heart condition SVT (rapid heart rate) that is only aggravated by extreme stress or stimulants such as caffine, or ephedra. I have never had asthma before. Now, I can't breathe properly to save my life, and it only just started with this pregnancy. I need stimulant free asthma relief fast. I'm scared the not breathing well thing (and the coughing that comes with the asthma) will cause problems for my baby and me. HELP!!!
I have spoken to my doctor, she is no help. I live in a small town and none of the professionals in my area want to touch an SVT patient. All they want to do is throw ephedra drenched products at it or nothing at all. If my doctor had been any help, I would not have posted a question looking for alternatives. I have been diagnosed with asthma. But with SVT, they won't touch it. I just have to suffer. If you don't have any helpful suggestions, please dont leave any comments thank you.

Have you been "actually" diagnosed with Asthma? My suspicions are that you haven't ... because a cardiologist or pulmonologist would have taken care of this .... you need to go to the doctor ..... At 41/2 months .. you shouldn't have breathing problems ... this needs to be evaluated by a professional
That said, with your history of SVT, it would most likely be aggravated with beta adrenergics .... that is why you need to be evaluated by a cardiologist and pulmonologist ....
If you have been seen by a physician .. you need to move on .. because this problem should have been dealt with ... and of course your OB/GYN should be aware of all the symptoms and changes to medicine that your consults would suggest
