in a job interview, how do i answer this?
im a medical assistant recently graduated.
i have two interviews tomorrow,
one at a family practice clinic and one
at an asthma and allergy specialty clinic.
i had an interview at an ob/gyn clinic last week,
i feel i didnt do as good as i usual do.
my problem is seeming interested in that specialty.
i had an externship at a pediatrics clinic and i LOVED it,
and thats where i would like to work, but no pediatrics
have openings right now and i need to work.
does anyone have any suggestions about how i should answer
"so what made you want to work here?" about an asthma and allergy
clinic???? i have neither and have never experienced them with anyone closely. im an excellent worker and do my best no matter what type of clinic im in. but what should i say when they ask that question???
at the ob/gyn interview, i has trouble coming up with an answer that wasnt too general. i would have rather faked one but didnt come up with it quick enough.......
so what can i say about wanting to work at a family practice OR an allergy/asthma clinic????

A professional interviewer will get the truth out of you, regardless of how well you prepare. You may as well be honest. If you're clever enough to hide it in the first interview, it will eventually come out in later interviews. (smile)
