Can stress and anxiety cause asthma attacks?

Can stress and anxiety cause asthma attacks?
I'm really curious, because I have asthma and my inhaler hasn't been properly working or fullfilling me to my needs ya know. I'm starting to get stressed out alot with work and life, and my asthma has been getting worse and worse. I'm trying to excersise to stay healthy is this bad?? Any tips for de-stressing? What should I do about my inhaler?
Thanks:)
Also does insomnia have anything to do with asthma?

I think you need to go see your doctor. He may need to change your med. I think that asthma may trigger insomnia. As for de-stressing get enough sleep, eat a balanced meal, get some exercise, maybe yoga till you see doctor.
