Well we live in southeast texas and I can tell you it's not a very good place for asthma. My niece ended up moving to Dallas and she is much better now.
It's hard to say though, cuz there really is no asthma free place to live.
It kind of depends on what triggers you in the first place.
I had a friend who was in the gulf war and he had asthma just while he was there, and was fine when he got back.

Good luck! I've had Asthma all my life and I was told states like Colorado, Arizona, Nevada are good states to live in if you have asthma. I have lived all over the US without relief. Live in MN now and my allergies are terrible now.

You need to do research based on your condition and known triggers. Do you have allergies? Do you know your outdoor allergens? What about pollen? Do you know what trees you have sensitivities to? Check out: http://yourasthmaworld.com/AQ.html for detailed information and States you may be interested in. So with all this said, its not a matter of which state is best for asthmatics, it is which location has fewer allergens and triggers for you.
