i was prescribed 2 medications for migraines and for sleeping. one was an antideprrssant instead .legal action
the other should never have been prescribed for me cause i have asthma and i am obese and it says in the medicine guide that it isnt for people with those conditions. should i pursue legal action? Who should i contact?

talk to your doctor and ask him
many meds have various uses so he would know and if youa re concerned ask him for an alternative medication

Did you actually take the medication? Did you get injured as a result of taking the medication? Unless you can prove that the doctor was niglinent in prescribing and you were caused harm, you probably won't have much of a case and it will simply end up costing you money and aggrivation.
It is not uncommon for an antidepressant to be used for treatments of migrianes (Pamelor is one example). It's called an off label use. That often ocures when it is proven that a medication for one condition has a favorable effect on another condition. (Viagra, for example was originally developed to be a heart medication.)
