Common cleaners with all their chemicals, found in retail stores make breathing difficult for me.

I've used Kaboom and love the stuff, very little elbow grease needed. I leave it on for 5 Min's. then go over the area with my normal clean which is Scrubbing Bubbles. If you want the tiles to really shine and have time, take rubbing alcohol on a wash cloth and rub into the tile. You will see the difference immediately when they are fully dry.

Vinegar. It takes a little longer, but it's effective.

You may want to give CLR a try. It's available in almost any supermarket. It works very well and the consecrate is only about four bucks. Very little smell and has worked well for me. It is also used to clean coffee pots so I assume it not too dangerous.
